Short version

By default Doha Dish sets no cookies and does not track you. The only cookies on the site come from Google Analytics, and only if you opt in via the consent banner. Reject it and nothing is set.

Analytics cookies (opt-in)

If you accept analytics in the banner, we load Google Analytics, which sets its own cookies (such as _ga) to measure page views. We use this only to see which venues are popular — no personal data, no cross-site tracking, no advertising profiles. If you reject analytics, Google Analytics is never loaded and none of its cookies are set. See our Privacy Policy for detail.

localStorage

We use your browser's localStorage (not cookies) to remember your consent choice (doha_dish_consent) and, if you open the map, that you approved it (doha_dish_map_ok). This data never leaves your device, and you can clear it any time via your browser settings.

Third-party assets

Fonts, venue photos, and the map software are all served from our own domain — no third-party CDNs. The optional map view loads tiles from CARTO only after you click to activate it, at which point CARTO receives your IP address; it is never contacted otherwise.

If this ever changes

If we ever add cookies or tracking beyond the opt-in analytics described above, we'll update this page and make sure the consent banner covers it before anything is set.
